BENSPLAYHOUSE : A REAL INCIDENT OR JUST AN ARG ?

Bensplayhouse is a YouTube channel that started posting eerily terrifying and creepy videos to YouTube on January 4th 2013. At that time, his less than 1 min footages which contained odd disturbing events were way beyond people's understanding and thus, it resulted in becoming one of the biggest mysteries in the world. 

His channel description made people think that this "Ben" guy used to kidnap people and kill them. 

However, his channel was deleted long back and around 2 years ago, a channel by the name, "Bensplayhouse Archives" uploaded all his deleted videos back on YouTube. The archives channel still exists on YouTube and you can check it out using this link : Bensplayhouse Archives

                               

These were the first two videos on his channel uploaded on 4th January 2013 :- "bathtub.mov" and "bestfriend.mov" . The first footage includes sounds of what seemed like a man screaming for help and you can clearly see scars on his face (his face was probably burnt by hot bathtub water as the title suggests)

            

In the video bestfriend.mov, a man with glowing eyes can be seen come closer and closer towards the camera and as the video nears end, he jumpscares us. (the laughing of a baby can be heard in the background of this video in a compressed voice)

The third video on this channel was uploaded the very next day on 5th January 2013, by the title "happyclown.mov" This video was similar to bestfriend.mov, except the person in this video was wearing a clown mask and towards the end a compressed laughter was heard. 

Next video was campfire.mov and was uploaded on 6th January. It shows footage of a man burning something. (Not sure what it is)

And on 7th January 2013, he uploaded a video titled cowboy.mov . It shows a person weaing a cow mask and yelling in a bathroom. This footage too, contained audio distortions, much like the earlier  videos. This was filmed in a bathroom

After this he suddenly stopped uploading! And just when people thought he quit YouTube, he returned again on January 17th 2015 with a new video titled "newfriend.mov"

 

If you compare newfriend.mov and bestfriend.mov by watching them side by side, you will see the style of running on the mysterious person is same in both videos. The person in bestfriend.mov was most probably Ben himself. But who was this new friend?

The description of this video contained a vine account link.

THE VINE ACCOUNT ID

Through this link, the person in newfriend.mov was recognised to be Collin, a vine creator. He had only 2 followers on Vine at the time when this footage was recorded. But how did he end up on Ben's video???

He had one vine up on his page where he entered an abandoned asylum and recorded footage of the inside. He finds a cow mask similar to the one in cowboy.mov . Then he films a corridor where he is caught by Ben. Can you connect things now???

 Later, two untitled vines came up on Collin's account which clearly showcase that Ben had possessed Collin's camera and filmed him with his own camera crouching in one corner of the asylum.

In the second vine, Ben gives this guy medicine. After these two vines were uploaded to Collin's account, it was time for Ben's new video : timeout.mov

This video features a shirtless man approaching the camera, wearing a new kind of mask (which wasn't clearly seen) and the video ends.

Many now believed, that this shirtless man was none other than Collin. The next video hideandseek.mov shows Collin doing weird things like wearing a mask, running shirtless in the hallway, etc. Maybe this was all the effect of the medicine which Ben gave to Collin (maybe some kind of drug)

During this time, a new vine was uploaded again to Collin's account too which showcased the same things but in a more clear video quality.

After this nothing happened on the channel for some period untill, on 27th October 2015, a new video was uploaded to Bensplayhouse by the name "update.mov"

 

It shows a person flying in an airplane. This was the first video which seemed less scary because the plane was filled with passangers. But looking at the clothes he was wearing, it didn't seem like this was Ben who was filming the video. It was actually Collin who was recording the update.mov video. He was wearing the same clothes as in his vines and the footage was also recorded on Collin's phone. Now it was clear that Collin had access to Bensplayhouse too.

After this, a video titled ladyinred.mov was uploaded to Bensplayhouse. This is believed to be the creepiest video on his channel. It shows Ben stalking a woman in red dress, the whole video from the streets to the nearby supermarket. In the end of the video, he is seen entering her car and no one knows what happened next. This car footage is cut off in the video on the Archives channel. 

After this, the last video was uploaded to Bensplayhouse by the name sandman.mov in which he is seen climbing stairs of his house and entering the bathroom. In the end of the footage, a scary woman figure can be seen smiling with word Sandman repeating on a loop in a distorted voice. This part is also cut off on the Archives channel.

Many think that Bensplayhouse is totally fake, and Ben and Collin are two friends who created these videos for fun. But after sandman.mov, his original channel was deleted and two years ago, all the videos were reuploaded on Bensplayhouse Archives. They still exist on YT and you can watch all the videos we talked about on the Archives channel. Since then, no one ever really talked about this channel and it's videos.
