01A51CD0 : THE UPSIDE-DOWN STORY

 

01A51CD0 is a YouTube channel that started posting clips to the platform in 2011. The reason why this channel is considered disturbing at first sight is the video titles and descriptions which are written upside down and are written in such a sequence which seems like the channel owner is trying to convey a message like watchingyou - didyouseeus - it'snotover and so on. 

Sometimes the descriptions of the videos also try to convey something. For e.g the first video on this channel by the title "ʎlʇuǝᴉʇɐdƃuᴉʇᴉɐʍ" (Waiting Patiently) was deleted for some reasons. But when it was on YouTube, the description of the video contained the link to a video wherein a man, is delivering a public speech and he sudddenly takes out a gun and shoots himself. 

But since that video is deleted now, the first video you will see on the channel is by the title 

"noʎbuıɥɔʇɐʍ"  (Watching You) Which contains really weird footages of cartoon icons dancing. And some phrases like "You are easier to fool than I thought. I have been watching you for a long time" 

In the video with the title "ɹǝʌoʇousʇı" and the description "ƃuıuuıƃǝqʇsnɾʎןuosʇı" , specific words are highlighted from the page of a book which build the sentence , "Our senses use more than images and symbols to see. I see as if looking inside, the outside or through my third eye in our mind" . The video also conveys more messages like there are two worlds of magic, here men have power of demons, death itself is an illusion, etc. 

And one more highlighted page reveals the line "face the mirror see the monster" . 

No one could explain the meaning of these messages.

After this, the user uploaded four videos in period of 9 December 2011 to 27 December 2011 which seemed to be interlinked to one another. 

 In the first video, "ɹǝʌosıʇıɐʍǝɥʇ" , a video tape seemingly belonging to the 50's era is featured. It showcases a group of bike riders. However the frontmost rider had a scary face and a monologue could be heard in the background. However, due to distorted audio it is difficult to be understood. The next two videos create a feeling in the minds of viewers that this guy is stalking someone. And the last video "ןןǝʍpıpnoʎ" with the description "ʎןǝɔıuʇsǝʇǝɥʇbuıssɐdǝɹɐnoʎ" (You are passing the test nicely) shows that the guy is hiding behind some bushes and recording two people get out of a car. 

After this video, he abruptly stopped uploading for a long period. When people began to think he is gone, he returned back last year start uploading more stuff. However, since they are not much significant, we won't be covering that. The only thing that didn't change was his way of writing video titles and descriptions upside down.

I am not sure about what was the connection between his first three videos, those highlighted texts and these four videos. But they do conclude that person behind this channel is some psychotic stalker who follows people. Major symptoms of psychosis is hallucination and illusions (he could be heard murmuring something to himself in his videos) , disorganized speech (The weird monologue and the upside down titles and descriptions)
